New Delhi,Dec 16: Lok Satta president Jaiprakash Narayana on Wednesday urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to seek a consensus opinion on the contentious issue of Telangana.Interacting with the media, he said he urged the Prime Minister to take all parties and people's representatives into confidence before taking any decision on the controversial statehood issue.He also appealed to the prime minister to take into account the sentiments and feelings of the people residing even in the rural areas before arriving at a decision.The Prime Minister, however, assured him that he would announce the Government stand on Telangana only after taking a clear-cut opinion of all leaders in the state.
