Congress senior leader and former minister Dr P Shankar Rao has praised Aam Admi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal for his party's landslide victory in Delhi elections.
Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises here, Shankar Rao said that Delhi's elections were a referendum against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said by voting for AAP candidates, people have completely rejected the BJP, especially the Prime Minister. He hoped that AAP's victory would stop Modi from implementing the hidden agenda of Sangh Parivar to convert India into a Hindu Rashtra.
Shankar Rao said Kejriwal should take steps to implement all the promises that he made with the people.
