Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar on Wednesday accepted the resignation of Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal as the member.
The Speaker informed the House that she was in receipt of Lagadapati's resignation and she was accepting the same.
Lagadapati, who created a storm by splashing pepper spray in Lok Sabha during tabling of Telangana Bill, resigned as Lok Sabha member and also announced quitting active politics in protest against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
