Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader Etela Rajender on Monday welcomed the January 10th deadline fixed by Speaker Nadendla Manohar to submit the amendments to the State Reorganisation Bill, 2013.
Speaking to reporters at Assemby media point here Etela said that fixing of January 10th deadline was an achievement and victory for the people of Telangana people. He said that irrespective of the outcome of debate on Telangana Bill in the State Legislative Assembly, Telangana State would be a reality soon. He condemned the Seemandhra legislators for not stalling the proceedings of the House to prevent debate on Telangana Bill.
Etela also asked the Telangana leaders of Telugu Desam Party to come quit and join the TRS. He said it was surprising that despite N Chandrababu Naidu's open opposition to the Telangana formation, the leaders from the region were still continuing in the party. He said that the Telangana leaders should introspect the behaviour of Naidu and justify their continuance in the TDP.
