Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA K Tarakarama Rao on Monday condemned that statement of AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on the status of Hyderabad.
Addressing a press conference at the Telangana Bhavan here, KTR said that any change in the status of Hyderabad would not be accepted and TRS would strongly protest against the same. He asked Digvijay Singh to clarify whether his statement proposing Union Territory status for Hyderabad was personal opinion or party's stand. He said any such move by the Centre would be opposed.
KTR also alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was responsible for the violent protests in Seemandhra region. He also condemned the Chief Minister for his failure to make alternate arrangements to deal with the strike by Seemandhra Electricity Employees JAC.
