Somireddy asks KCR to withdraw remarks on Telugu Talli

Telugu Desam Party senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy on Tuesday slammed Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao for his remarks on Telugu Talli.

Talking to media persons, Chandramohan Reddy termed KCR's remarks against Telugu Talli as 'devilish' and 'unfortunate' and asked him to withdraw his comments immediately. Warning KCR of serious consequences, he said that the people of the State would teach a fitting lesson to KCR at an appropriate time.

Stating that the people of Telangana were generally good and matured, he accused KCR of cheating the people of region with the slogans of statehood by making deceptive comments and by provoking the people.  On one side KCR has been describing Telangana region as backward and on other side he has been claiming that Telangana people were prompt in payment of taxes. This clearly exposes his double speak on the issue, he said.
