YS Jagan Misguided!

In-Charge for Party Affairs in Andhra Pradesh M Veerappa Moily on Monday described the resignation of Kadapa MP from the primary membership of the Congress and from the Lok Sabha as, ‘most unfortunate and misguided’, but added that the parting of ways would have little impact on the party.

Speaking to media persons outside the Parliament House, Mr Moily emphasised his words on the impact of the resignation on the AP Congress by saying, “the party is very strong there.” Mr Jaganmohan Reddy and his mother YS Vijayalakshmi, MLA from Pulivendula, had earlier resigned from the party and Legislatures, alleging attempt to split the family.

The Kadapa MP had stated that that a conspiracy, hatched to sideline him and hijack the legacy of his father, former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, was now being acted on.
