Maganti Gopinath no more. Renowned politician Maganti Gopinath popular for his humble nature, left all in tears when he breathed his last today. Maganti Gopinath was the BRS MLA representing the Jubilee Hills constituency. He has been undergoing treatment for kidney ailment for quite sometime and was admitted in AIG Hospital, Gachibowli, Hyderabad when he suffered a massive heart stroke on 5 June at 2.59 PM.
63 year old Maganti Gopinath suffered heart attack in his house and he was rushed to the AIG Hospital by his family members. The team of expert doctors revived his condition conducting CPR and was then placed on ventilator. But forte the best efforts from the doctors he breathed his last at 5.45AM.
Condolences started pouring in from all quarters. His final rites will be held at 3 PM at Mahaprasthanam. He will be accorded state funeral by the Telangana government. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Leader of the Opposition and BRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao, KTR Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar condoled the shocking demise of Maganti Gopinath.
