Wakf Board CEO in ACB net

Another corrupt officer falls into the trap laid by Anti Corruption Bureau officials here on Thursday.The Acb officials caught State Wakf Board Chief Executive Officer Farooq Ahmed in Nampally when he was accepting Rs 1 lakh for doing an official favour from a person.

Following the incident, the officials grew suspicious about his income and conducted simultaneous raids on his houses and his relatives’ houses.

Searches were ongoing at his house at the time of filing this report. The officials said the exact amount of seizure would be known after searches.The Acb officials registered a case in this connection.
