Website on historical places in Hyderabad launched

Hyderabad, July 17 (TNN): A website, which provides information on historical places in and around Hyderabad, was launched by Minister for Urban Development Mr Anam Ram Narayana Reddy here on Friday.

Launching the unique website www.qqda.com created by Hyderabad based-Quali Qutub Shah Development Authority, he said that the website would provide all details regarding historical places in and around Hyderabad, places of interest, picnic spots, parks, lakes and monuments, distance from main centres, accommodation facilities and charges etc.

He said the pilgrims and visitors both domestic and internal, can get the details of city on the website and spend leisure time efficiently by spending a little amount of money.

He also said that the government has taken taken up development works to tune of Rs 7 crore in Hyderabad and Secunderabad to attract the tourists from other states and abroad.

A few domestic as well as international agencies are evincing interest to become partners in the new concept of tourism projects, which would provide lot of opportunities to unemployed youth, he added.
