Hyderabad, Feb 4: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Thursday flagged off the daily Garib Rath Express train between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam.Later, the Chief Minister also flagged off the daily Secunderabad-Patna Express, which hitherto was a bi-weekly train.``The Garib Rath Express between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, introduced on Oct 24, 2008, has been running four times a week. Now, it will run daily as announced in the Railway Budget last year,’’ South Central Railway General Manager Jayanth said.

The train would leave Secunderabad at 8.15 p.m and reach Visakhapatnam following day at 7.30 a.m. On its return journey, it would leave Visakhapatnam at 8.30 p.m and reach Secunderabad at 8.10 a.m the next day.It has exclusive coaches for ladies, physically- challenged and senior citizens, the General Manager said.The bi-weekly Secunderabad-Patna Express, will now run daily. It would leave Secunderabad at 10 a.m, reach Patna at 7.10 p.m the next day, while on the return journey it will depart Patna at 12.05 p.m and reach Secunderabad at 9.30 p.m the  following day.
