Who killed Naga Vaishnavi?

News of Naga Vaishnavi, the little girl loosing her budding life has shaken the entire state. On a random analysis of the whole situation, who needs to be blamed for this inhuman murder?

The real abductors and murderers are to be punished by hanging them till they die. More than that, few sections of the society are concerned about the role of Media and Police played in this sensitive case.

Media’s earnest responsibility is to deliver the news for the people that offer not only information, but also bring out a change in the society leading to a better civilization. Has our media behaved the same in Naga Vaishnavi’s case? In hunt of ‘Breaking news’ and ‘First on – TV,’ teams of reporters and journalists have almost become dangerous detectives and spying squads. For every small move initiated by either Police or their family, it was focused on TV screens as hot news.

If there would have been any hopes about child getting back to their parents, all of them were dissolved by these daring stunts of Media because these kidnappers doesn’t have any way to get out of the situation except vanishing Naga Vaishnavi.

It is a paradox and a contrasting situation in our country and particularly in our state, where in Media is not only aggressive and competitive but also creative, where as our Police departments are quite opposite. Major sections of society complain that a decent Police follow up in this case might have saved the innocent life.

With no major breakthrough attained in the case after nearly 60 hours of kidnap, what kind of strategy does these officials adopt is a big? How can Police allow Machilipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana who came forward to mediate with kidnappers for the release of Naga Vaishnavi by giving his phone number through the media and asking kidnappers to contact him secretly? Are they kidnappers or our relatives to contact a Police or Government servant?

More than all these is the surprising moves by Police who have conducted an open identification parade on the premises of Suryaraopet police station with all those criminals who were already in their police records using Naga Vaishnavi’s elder brother Sai Teja.

It is a clear indication that, hype created by Media and Police have made the kidnappers press the panic button and left with the only solution to eliminate Naga Vaishnavi for their survival. All in all, the result would have been something different, if the same enthusiasm and anxiety shown by Media is shown by either Police or parents.
