Hyderabad, Dec 30: The condition of two fasting students has become critical after they refused to undergo treatment at the Gandhi Hospital until the Centre makes a positive announcement on separate Telangana.Doctors at Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday said the health of Kaviraju and Kalyan has deteriorated as they refused to take in saline and consume food. Kaviraju might slip into coma as he has a history of convulsions which might aggravate the situation.

Earlier, the doctors advised shifting of the four fasting students, Manavata Roy, M Satyam, Kavi Raju and Kalyan to the hospital after checking them in the night. However, the students remained adamant on their stand for separate Telangana.Meanwhile, the Osmania University students demanded shifting the fasting students from Gandhi Hospital to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences and staged a dharna in front of the Arts College.
