Supreme Court issues notice to Mahrashtra Govt About Babli Issue.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued notice  to the Maharashtra Government for violating the  court norms and setting up  crest gates at the Babli Project in Maharashtra. The judges panel headed by K G Balakrishnan issued notice to the Maharashtra Government.

 Further the court ordered insisted that the Maharashtra Government  should respond to this notice failing which action will be taken against them . The advocate defending  the case on behalf of the  Maharashtra Government argued that even though the crest gates were set up at the Babli Project but still they did not start functioning

The court which heard the arguments of both the advocates of Andhra Pradesh and Mahatashtra Governments, adjourned the case to August 8.
