Are our Indian Cricketers 'Donkeys'?

Nasser Hussain, the former England Cricket team captain raked a new controversy by calling Indian fielders as ‘Donkeys’ during the T20 match when Parthiv Patel dropped a catch. BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla said, ‘Every player has to be respected and such comments should not be made. I do not think this comment was appropriate. Commentators should not make such comments. We will definitely look into it.’

Given the present form shown by our cricketers in England, angry Fans in India are although serious on the performance but are unhappy on being our players addressed as ‘Donkeys.’  Former Indian captain Azharuddin said, ‘Nasser has been a captain. He should not have said so. He should tender an apology. There are many ways of commenting but calling players donkeys is unbecoming of a player of his stature.’
