Hyderabad, Sept 22: Two more swine flu deaths were reported from the state on Tuesday. With this, the toll due to H1N1 contagion climbed to 36 in the state. According to state health officials, the victims are females, including a 50-year-old from Hyderabad. The deceased has been identified as Vijaya, a resident of Vanasthalipuram in the city. She was undergoing treatment at Global Aware Hospital in LB Nagar and died today.The other was a 35-year-old woman from Rayachoti in Kadapa district who succumbed to the flu today at a private hospital in the city.Both of them were admitted to the hospital complaining of fever, cough and severe breathlessness.

It is exactly not known whether the victims have any previous history of travelling abroad.The total number of confirmed swine flu cases in the state has gone up to 400, the officials said. With the fresh cases, the number of people infected by the virus has reached 8,153 in the country  and it claimed 247 lives so far in the country.The Union Health Ministry said samples from 34,376 persons have been tested for H1N1 in government and a few private laboratories across the country and 8,153 of them have been found positive.
