With festive Diwali mood set all across the country and people are celebrating it with fervor; there is a hidden threat and warning bells are ringing for Coastal Andhra with the cyclone named ‘Jal’ by meteorological department. The Low Pressure depression turned into a deadly cyclone is centered about 700 km east of Trincomalee (Sri Lanka), 900 km east-southeast of Chennai and 1100 km southeast of Visakhapatnam. The system would move west-northwestwards and cross north Tamil Nadu and south Andhra Pradesh coasts between Puducherry and Nellore close to Chennai by November 7 (Sunday) evening or night, forecasted the Meteorological department. Thunder showes to isolated very high rains are predicted in Coastal Andhra Pradesh along with gusty winds reaching around 65-75 kph.
