Prabhas refused to go dare bare

Prabhas refused to remove his shirt. Prabhas became a pan-India star since his sensational performance in Rajamouli's Baahubali. He is currently starring in Adi Purush which is releasing on 16 June 2023. He lined up many crazy and interesting projects like Salaar, Project K, Raja Deluxe, Spirit, etc.

Prabhas looked macho and royal as the crown prince in Baahubali. Even as Lord Ram in Adipurush, he is casting a magic spell. But not many know that Prabhas once refused to remove his shirt and go dare bare for a scene in his film. It is known that Prabhas starred in Pournami under the direction of Prabhu Deva.

The film which was released amidst huge expectations failed at the box office. Prabhas romanced Charmy and Trisha in the film. There is a scene in Pournami where Prabhas and Trisha get close behind the bushes. Prabhas and Trisha look without clothes in the scene. Though on the screen, they were shown in that manner, actually they were in their innerwear.

When the director asked Prabhas to remove his shirt, Prabhas told them ' No No. I am shy. I will not do that. I will wear the shirt and you take care of it in the editing' Though director Prabhu Deva tried to convince him as it will not look natural if edited in the editing room, Prabhas did not budge.

The director postponed the shoot for this sequence for three days. Later his uncle Krishnam Raju trained him and sent him for the film shoot and even then he completed the small scene taking four hours scene. Even in Radhe Shyam, during intimate scenes with Pooja Hegde, Prabhas experienced a lot of trouble and embarrassment.
