Samantha gained immense stardom with her bold and intense performance in The Family Man 2 webseries under the direction of Raj and DK.

Samantha is sharing a screen presence with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan. They have been promoting the series in a grand manner and Samantha is enacting high-octane action sequences and she has been sharing her intense workout videos. She even shared her videos and captioned them 'torture times'. In the videos, she is seen taking ice baths and doing intense action sequences.

A few days back Samantha attended the Citadel Hollywood version premiers. The Citadel English version starred Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden and is directed by Russo Brothers. The Citadel English version started streaming a couple of days back and it got negative reviews.

Movie lovers who watched Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden's Citadel felt that the action scenes looked routine and reminded them of the poor version of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan. Some even felt that the action sequences offered nothing new and performances did not entertain them.
