Akhanda + Veera Simha Reddy = Waltair Veerayya

An interesting observation is made by trade analysts based on the collections of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's recent films. According to them, Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya collections are levelled with the sum of the recent two films' collections of Balakrishna. The report in brief, here. 

Akhanda was the first mass film that hit screens post the Covid era. Availing the advantage, Akhanda had become a blockbuster and amassed Rs. 65 crore worldwide share. Banking on the success of Akhanda, the makers sold out Veera Simha Reddy for fancy prices. The film stood as a successful venture at the box office with Rs.75 crore share collections. Altogether, the sum of Akhanda and VSR put together Rs.140 crore worldwide share. 

Released for Sankranthi season this year, Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya recorded huge blockbuster status. The film collected a total share of Rs.140 crore. Co-incidentally, this collection number levelled the sum of Akhanda and VSR. This further implies the status and range of Megastar at the box office.
