Sitaramam movie makers deleted a controversial scene. Sitaramam movie became the toast of the nation. The film starring Dulqer Salmaan, Murnal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna directed by Hanu Raghavapudi cast a magic spell on movie lovers across the country. The film got rave reviews and movie lovers branded it as an epic and poetic love story. The film's Hindi version is spell-bounding movie lovers leaving them in tears.

In the meantime, it is coming out that the makers have deleted a scene fearing controversy. The makers released the scene on youtube and some say the makers have done a good thing while others found it nothing wrong. It is known that Rashmika Mandanna played the role of a Pakistani girl Afreen and she was introduced as a hater of Indians.

The deleted scene showed Rashmika entering the Noorjahan palace and it showed that she returns back to get back her bag and passport which she forgot in a taxi. There the taxi driver played by Pelli Choopulu fame Abhay tells her that he cannot steal her bag and stake and sell his country's prestige to her.
