Bollywood vs South controversy becomes bigger

Right after the south films RRR, Pushpa The Rule, and KGF Chapter 2 rocked Bollywood, Bollywood stars grew insecure and many who couldn't digest the fact and come to the terms of the hard reality came with insulting statements. Those who made such comments included Ajay Devgn, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, and Nawazuddin Siddique. They said all this is hype and one hit from Bollywood is enough to change the situation completely.

Kicha Sudeep's post regarding Bollywood and Hindi triggered a war between him and Ajay Devgn. While everything seems to be settling down, now Mahesh Babu came with the shocking comments on his Bollywood debut triggering the Bollywood vs South controversy again. Mahesh Babu whenever he was asked about his Bollywood debut used to say that he is content with doing Telugu films.

But this time, he went on to elaborate that he indeed got some crazy offers but added that Bollywood cannot afford him. Though he started off saying he may be sounding rude, his comments added fuel to the fire. Twitter is witnessing war of words between Mahesh Babu's fans and North people and many felt Mahesh Babu could have easily avoided it. Mahesh's fans however support that he never belittled Bollywood. Till this time, many felt that Bollywood celebs are insecure and that's why they are coming with insulting comments. Under these circumstances, instead of maintaining calm, south stars are falling into the trap forgetting the fact that by doing so they are erasing the difference between us and them.  All in all, instead of enjoying quality content from whichever region it comes, celebrities are indulging in the slugfest entering into the troubled waters.
