Super Star Rajinikanth hospitalised

Super Star Rajinikanth, who is set to entertain movie lovers across the world with his upcoming entertainer Annathe which is releasing in Telugu as Peddanna is hospitalized in Chennai. The moment news of Rajinikanth's hospitalization spread, his fans across the world started getting worried.

However, his publicist Riaz Ahmed revealed "It is a health check-up done routinely on a periodical basis. He is now in a private hospital for the check-up,"Rajinikanth got admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai and he is undergoing a routine medical checkup. Rajinikanth will be there in the hospital for a day.

Rajinikanth couple of days back received the highest film award Dadasaheb Phalke Award and later met President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister Modi in Delhi. Rajinikanth's ill health is often worrying his fans and rumors of his retirement from films due to ill health is giving them sleepless nights. It is known that Rajinikanth dropped in political plans due to health reasons.
