Vaishnav Tej, Rakul Preet Singh’s Kondapolam directed by Krish is racing for a grand release on October 8. On the eve of Kondapolam release, Krish who is known for his films like Gautami Putra Satakarni, Manikarnika-The Queen of Jhansi etc shared Kondapolam secrets.
He said during the first lockdown, he along with other directors Indraganti Mojhan aKrishna and SUkumar had a small get together in June-July and during that time, they recommended Kondapolam novel. He said he loved the story at once and decided to film it. He said at that time, he felt that Vaishnav Tej would suit for the role but the novel had no female lead. He said he worked with the author Sannapureddy Venkatarami Reddy and incorporated Obulamma character. He added that cinematographer Gnanasekhar suggested Rakul Preet Singh’s name and said he felt that Rakul Preet Singh will suit for the role.
He said the project was made possible with Pawan Kalyan giving green signal to use the time gap between his film Hari Hara Veera Mallu and added that Kondapolam offers a thrilling and adventurous ride to movie lovers.
