Scam in MAA forced Prakash Raj?

People are shocked when Prakash Raj announced his candidature for the upcoming Movie Artistes Association (MAA) elections even before the notification came. Those supporting him and even Prakash Raj went on record that this was not a sudden or impulsive decision but was planned six months back after he was pained at the controversies going on in MAA.

In the meantime, many are wondering why Prakash Raj is contesting MAA elections. Some of the members are discussing secretly that a huge scam happened in MAA and to cover that scam, Prakash Raj was propped from behind. They say none other than Mega Brother Naga Babu was behind this scam.

When he was the president of MAA, land was acquired for MAA building in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. But it was under litigation. At that time, the land cost was Rs 45 lakhs and they spent another Rs50lakhs for its development. All this happened with the encouragement of the members of the MAA committee.

When it resulted in a huge controversy, MAA put the property for sale. But with the land under litigation and even having Vastu problems, the land did not get the desired value. Finally, a Muslim person acquired the land for Rs 35 lakhs.

Apart from this controversy, there were discrepancies in the profits of MAA after it organized cricket matches. Senior Naresh under his leadership demanded an explanation for the same from the members of the old committee. Rumors have it, even in printing and stationary huge scam occurred and all this became a tight noose for the top stars.

To put all these things in the backburner and cover them up, the biggies felt that Prakash Raj is the best option and that was the reason why Naga Babu went on record saying Prakash Raj as MAA president will generate funds easily. Some even questioned the candidature of Prakash Raj and many felt it was sheer inexperience on the part of Mega Family to support Prakash Raj.

This because MAA was started by seniors and many seniors like Mohan Babu, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna are there apart from Chiranjeevi. Many are unable to digest the fact that Prakash Raj's name will be craved if MAA gets a new building under his leadership.
