Apparently, RGV's tweets on local and non local heroes worked wonders. Ever since Prakash Raj proclaimed that he would be contesting for the MAA president post, his detractors alleged that he had been a non local and had no right to contest for the post.
Since RGV mentioned in his tweets that NTR, ANR, Krishna and Mohan Babu are also non locals, the opposition groups suddenly stopped criticizing Prakash Raj. It is a known news that Mohan Babu, who is also a non local, roped in his son Manchu Vishnu for MAA president post.
Meanwhile, MAA president Naresh convened a press meet on Saturday. Naresh, who is backing Vishnu's candidature, couldn't criticize Prakash Raj on non local issues. Instead, he, himself, admitted that any actor having the membership of MAA can contest the elections.
Naresh, in the meanwhile, listed out what he had done as a MAA president. he said health insurance policies were initiated to several artists of MAA and a few needy actors were helped financially.
