Story Review

30-year-old Prithvi (Chaitanya Rao) is a software engineer hailing from a middle-class background. He is in a confused state of mind regarding marriage but marries beautiful and good-looking 21-year-old girl Meghana (Ananya), on his father's insistence. But the age difference complicates the things in the lives of Prithvi and Meghana and the lockdown due to coronavirus increases their woes. Artists, Technicians Review

Director Prithvi Vanam tried to attract youngsters and also family viewers by touching on the sensitive issue of what happens when a 30-year-old guy weds a 21-year-old young girl. He came with a simple story but generated interest with his screenplay and direction. Since the topic is relevant, it appealed to many viewers. He started the narration in an interesting manner getting good output from the actors.

Prithvi Vanam emerged successful in elevating the expressions and emotions with good dialogues regarding relations. The confrontations between the lead pair and the dialogues are appealing and thought-provoking.

But for all the plus points there are many scenes that repeated testing the patience of the viewers. This repetition of scenes slowed the pace of the film. Director also failed to elevate the emotions of the hero to the maximum extent.

Chaitanya Rao who played the lead role performed well as the confused 30-year-old guy. He showed good expressions and emoted well showing hesitance and guilt consciousness. Ananya, who played the role of the heroine, came with a stellar performance. She not only attracted by her looks but made a good impact with her screen presence. The chemistry between the lead pair is well presented on the screen. Veerabhadram as a father, Sri Kumari as a mother, Mahender as Karthik, Divya Reddy as Jessie performed well according to their characters in the story.

Jose Jimmy attracted with his music. His songs though small in bits appealed to everyone connecting chords. He made a good impact with the background music. Cinematography of Pratyak Raju beautified the film with his camera angles capturing the nature and scenic beauty in a realistic manner. Tarak Sai Prathik's editing is ok but could have been better as there are few drags due to the repetitive scenes. Production values are decent.

30 Weds 21 directed by Prithvi Vanam offered good comedy in the first two episodes but one gets a feeling that the director ran out of pranks and ideas and so the next episodes turned out to be routine. The chemistry between the lead pair attracted initially but later the feelings between them did not appeal much. The youthful web series 30 Weds 21 is enjoyable if one chose to ignore the little drawbacks. Considering all these aspects, CJ goes with a 2.5 rating for 30 Weds 21.
