Though the Bjp has good hold on North and central Indian states with maximum number of MP seats bagged in, the party lacks enough strength down South which was evident with 2019's general polls. Needless to say, the regional parties in southern states don't make room for Bjp capturing maximum MP seats.

However, decks seem to be cleared for Bjp to win a big number of MP seats in southern states in 2024. But how? Let's do an analysis.

To begin with Telugu states, Telangana Bjp is undoubtedly a surprise package for the lotus party. The emergence of the party as an alternative force to the ruling TRS brings laurels among the Bjp's top brass at the centre. Incidentally, charismatic leaders like Eetela Rajender, Bandi Sanjay, Bandaru, Vijayashanti and others are strengthening the party. The Congress party, on the other hand, is vanishing like the TDP in the state. Altogether, the Bjp is expected to win a minimum of double digit MP seats in TS in 2024 for sure.

Bjp's strategic move to collaborate Janasena appears to work a big time for 2024. However, both the JSP and the Bjp should make sure the TDP won't strike back in 2024. If Megastar Chiranjeevi enters at least for election campaigns the face of the entire political picture will be changed. In such a scenario, the JSP and the Bjp can cash on the anti-incumbency to be generated by that time.

It's heard that the Bjp is behind Sasikala taking a crucial decision to make a reentry in politics. If she holds the leadership of AIADMK, the Bjp will have a tie up with the party for 2024 for sure. Sasikala's craze is expected to sweep the Lok Sabha polls in 2024.

For time being, the CM and Bjp's top leader Yediyurappa has no negativity in Karnataka. The Bjp is expected to win a decent number of MP seats under Yediyurappa's leadership.

The Bjp, however, needs to strengthen in Kerala, Andaman and Lakshadweep.
