Balayya's daring step in Covid times

The second wave of Covid-19 has yet again brought the film industry to a standstill. The shooting of all the films have been stalled and releases of news films are postponed. There is still no clarity when the shootings would resume but we hear that hero Nandamuri Balakrishna is going to kick off the proceedings.

His upcoming movie ‘Akhanda’ shooting is going to resume from 12th of this month. With minimal cast and crew, the makers have to get back to the sets and wrap up the film which is in its last leg.

‘Akhanda’ budget has crossed its line and the makers are in no mood to the film on hold further. Accordingly they have conveyed the same to Balayya and he readily agreed to shoot for the film. NBK should be appreciated for his bold and braving decision.

A directorial of Boyapati Sreenu, the film has Pragya Jaiswal in the female lead.
