AK Tests Corona Positive, In Self-quarantine

India has been hit hard by the second wave of the novel coronavirus. The film industry, which was slowly recovering after the first wave of the pandemic, is again impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. Many prominent Bollywood stars have tested positive for the deadly virus recently, leading to a delay in film shoots.

Freshly, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar announced that he has tested positive for Covid-19 and he’s in self-quarantine. “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon!” informed the actor.

Akshay Kumar was hectic busy post the lockdown and was working for multiple projects. He wrapped up the shoot of spy thriller Bell Bottom and Dhanush’s Atrangi Re. Akshay Kumar started shooting for Ram Setu only recently.
