Nayanthara has a prolific work having worked in all the industries in the South. The actress commands equivalent popularity akin to male heroes and an equal paycheck. However, even after being an A-list actress, Nayanthara is no exception to misogynist comments.

Nayanthara has yet again been slut-shamed by actor Radha Ravi. It was in 2019 that Radh Ravi spoke ill and bad-mouthed Nayanthara on stage at a movie promotional event. While back then he said that his words were misquoted and misrepresented but yet again he made sexist remarks against the actress at a political gathering.

Ahead of the Tamil Nadu State Assembly Elections, Radh Ravi at a political gathering said that he doesn’t mind if Nayanthara is in a relationship with actor -turned -politician Udhayanidhi. A user expressed his anger tweeting, “#RadhaRavi the star campaigner of B.J.P hasn't learned his lesson nor would never learn I suppose... He yet again shames #Nayanthara in a stage!! I wonder how can he get away with such disgusting, disgraceful, ill talks on one of South India's biggest actors...!!

Nayanthara's filmmaker beau back then had raised objection against Radh Ravi commnets. he had tweeted, “Clueless and helpless cos no one will support or do anything or take any action against that filthy piece of sh*t coming from a legendary family .. he keeps doing this to seek attention! Brainless! Sad to see audience laughing & clapping for his filthy comments!”

Nayanthara Comments On Radha Ravi

Nayanthara back then had spoken about Radha Ravi's filthy comments. In her statemnet she had said,"I would like to remind Mr.Radha Ravi and the likes of misogynists like him that they were also given birth by a woman. By demeaning the status of women and passing sexist remarks, these retarded men get a feeling of machismo."

She added, "I feel terribly sorry for the way they treat women in an opinionated way and my empathy remains with all the women who live in the families of these ’macho’ men. As an actor of considerable seniority and work experience, Mr.Radha Ravi should have led the younger generation by example, instead he has chosen to take up the role of a misogynist ‘role model’.When actors like Mr.Radha Ravi fall out of business and become irrelevant, they tend to rely on cheap popularity tactics in order to grab some limelight."
