A special gift for DSP

Devi Sri Prasad’s career is at an all-time high after the success of Uppena. It has been a long time since the music of a film has generated such unprecedented hype among moviegoers. The composer who was going through a lull phase with several albums being dubbed regular and usual, bounced back big time with this hit that’s having a terrific run at the box office.  Chiranjeevi has now showered praise on Devi Sri Prasad’s contribution to Uppena through a touching gesture.

The star had sent a note of appreciation and a special gift to DSP that moved the composer beyond words. The personal note read, “You’ve given such beautiful tunes to the film akin to any another star project. You’re truly a rockstar! I hope that the energy levels in you and your music remain the same for many more years.” The gift was an article where a young boy and a girl are seen holding each other intimately, probably symbolising the lead characters in Uppena.

Devi Sri Prasad, in a video he shared on his Youtube channel, conveyed his love for Chiranjeevi, adding that the star has always encouraged the presence of youngsters in the industry and has supported him since his early days. DSP got a major break in his career through Shankardada MBBS, whose songs remain popular even today.
