Bengali Actor Roped In For Acharya

Who is playing the main villain in megastar Chiranjeevi’s highly anticipated flick Acharya? After considering various names, director Koratala Siva roped in popular Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta who also starred in various Telugu movies to play the antagonist in Acharya. Although he didn’t get much to perform in previous films, Jisshu is said to have got a meaty role to show his acting prowess.

Previously, Jisshu Sengupta starred in NTR Biopic, Aswathama and Bheeshma. He is presently starring in Jayalalithaa biopic titled Thalaivi where he is playing the role of Sobhan Babu. Apart from these, Jisshu Sengupta is also doing other language films.

Acharys shoot is presently happening in Neredumilli and scenes involving Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are being shot. Kajal Aggarwal plays the leading lady, while Pooja Hegde is being considered to play heroine opposite Charan. Apart from doing the crucial role, Charan is also producing the film in association with Niranjan Reddy.

Acharya is scheduled to be released on May 13th.
