Why Did Female Heartthrob Quit Films?

Mumbai based Model Abbas created a sensation with a romantic entertainer like Prema Desam in 1996. After his debut film, Abbas became a female heartthrob for his hot, handsome and charming looks. Females dreamed their boyfriends to be like Abbas. He became the envy of all guys who started following his hairstyle. Not only common people but also stars followed his hairstyle.

Abbas went on to star in many films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. At one time he did 6-7 films a year and even shared screen presence with the likes of Balakrishna and Venkatesh. But later he slowly disappeared and though he is getting chances to do character roles, he isn't doing them.

Abbas, revealing his decision on why he quit films said: "I got bored with acting in films. I quit as I felt I can't do justice to the roles under those circumstances". Abbas was last seen in Telugu film Ala Jarigindi Oka Roju in 2014.
