Megastar Chiranjeevi is on a signing spree.  Apart from Acharya, the Sye Raa star will be next seen in the remake of Lucifer, a Malayalam film. Backed by Ram Charan, the film has been making noise on social media ever since it was announced. Initially Saaho director Sujeeth's name was heard to wield the megaphone. Citing creative differences, VV Vinayak came on board.

Vinayak who shares good rapport with the Konidela family was thought to take the seat of director for this one. However, a surprise element came in after Chiru turned him down too, being unimpressed in the script. Our reliable sources have informed us that Tamil director Mohan Raja has replaced Vinayak
