Second Wave Bringing Shivers To Tollywood

The speed of the coronavirus pandemic is accelerating once again. The spread of the infection around the world is gaining momentum again. This is why Britain also announced lockdown-2 after France to avoid its outbreak. After the news came out, another question came to India’s mind; can the central government re-impose a lockdown in India?

Recently, AIIMS Delhi Director Randeep Guleria warned that the second wave of COVID-19 in India has already begun. People should not leave the house without necessary.

The term second wave is bringing shivers to Tollywood which already lost heavily due to the corona pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. Few states have given permission for theatres re-opening and Telugu states are also planning open cinema halls from December. Few noted films are gearing up for release in next month and numerous films were announced for sankranthi release.

But, in case, there will be another lockdown or other new restrictions are imposed due to second wave, it will be big breakdown for the film industry. Let’s hope, things will come to normalcy very soon!
