This Director Best Utilized Lockdown, Not RGV!

Who is best utilizing the corona lockdown? The majority will name Ram Gopal Varma who is making short films for ATT platforms. However, all these films are made on shoe-string budget and the returns are also not high as expected. Then, there are several directors who are making films for OTT platforms. But, they are taking sufficient time to complete them.

Here we have a director who is making back to back films for OTT platforms. It is director Sampath Nandi is presently making Seetimaarr with Gopichand and Tamannaah Bhatia playing the lead roles. The film’s shoot came to standstill due to lockdown. The director recently clarified the film needs huge cast and crew needs to be present on sets every day which is why he’s delaying in resuming the shoot.

In the meantime, Sampath Nandi is making two OTT films. Both Black Rose with Urvashi Rautela and Odela Railway Station with Vasishta N Simha, Sai Ronak, Hebah Patel, Vasishta N Simha and Poojitha Ponnada in lead roles. Besides penning story for these two films, Sampath Nandi will be acting as presenter.

Although these two films feature known artists, they are made on moderate budget and are being made at jet speed. Sampath Nandi is also planning to come up with few more films for OTT in coming days.

Apparently, the delay of Seetimaarr shoot is not having much impact on him.
