Nishabdham: Anushka Reluctant, But Agrees

Anushka Shetty was actually against OTT release of her film Nishabdham which will have direct to digital release on Amazon Prime Video on October 2nd. Even, makers of the film rejected few offers respecting Anushka’s plea. But, with things look bleak over theaters re-opening, they opted for OTT release.

If a grapevine is anything to go by, Anushka is unhappy over her makers. As part of the OTT deal, Anushka needs to promote the film. But, she was reluctant to promote the film. Upon the request of director Hemant Madhukar, she is said to have given nod to take part in 2 to 3 online promotional events.

Nishabdham trailer was released couple of days ago to good response and there are huge expectations on the film given Anushka will be seen after a long gap and she has scored several hits in female centric films.

Madhavan, Anjali, Michael Madsen, Subbaraju, Shalini Pandey and Srinivas Avasarala will be seen in supporting roles.
