Telugu state governments as well as the central government gave permission for shoots of film and TV programs in June. Except for one or two films, nobody dared to resume shoot of their films. Especially, star heroes are not at all interested to start/resume shoot, given there’s huge spike in corona cases for last couple of weeks.
Megastar Chiranjeevi and SS Rajamouli were among the film personalities who were desperate for resumption of film works. While Rajamouli wanted to go for test shoot of RRR, Chiru wanted to begin new schedule of his film Acharya. Since it is highly impossible to shoot his film following Covid 19 guidelines issued by the government, Rajamouli decided to wait for some more time.
On the other hand, Ram Charan who is producing his dad Chiranjeevi’s film Acharya being directed by Koratala Siva doesn’t want to take unwanted risk. Thus, he has suggested Chiru to stall the film shoot for the time being. Charan’s wife Upasana is also said to have advised Chiru not to go out for shoot or other works.
The delay in shoot may cost him big, but Charan feels resuming shoot under the testing conditions will be a hazardous move.
Until the vaccine comes into existence or there will be decline in corona cases, both Chiru and Charan decided not to attend film shoots.
