Post coronavirus pandemic every industry is undergoing rapid changes. While all industries got affected, the film industry got hit very hard. Tollywood which comes with the highest number of films in the country is reeling under pressure.

Each craft in the industry is forced to review how to handle the situation. Producers are already planning to come out of huge remunerations to stars and high budget films. In the future, most of them may depend on OTT and Digital platforms rather than films in theatres. Even top stars and star directors are thinking on those lines.

Not only producers, stars, and directors even Distributors are changing their game plan. Already a few top Distributors gauged the situation post coronavirus and are getting ready to come with shocking decisions. They have decided not to buy any top stars films as they are in a dilemma about whether people will come to watch the film in theatres.

In these circumstances, a top producer and distributor decided not to ink agreements under NRA (Non-Refundable Advance). Reports are coming that other Distributors are also thinking in those lines. They are planning to come with a proposal to release the films in their own distribution house and earn a share in profits. Till the coronavirus is uprooted completely they want to continue the above-said format. Everyone is worried that all Distributors will follow the same policy if a top distributor implements it. This will have a huge impact on Pan India films with no scope for high budget films and top stars remuneration. Analysts feel that even technicians remuneration would see a steep fall.
