Tollywood PROs Face Butterfly Effect

Some important incidents have a powerful effect and that impact will be felt on unexpected people. Now a similar thing is happening in the industry. The fake news campaign started by Genex star Vijay Deverakonda is all set to have a powerful impact on PROs.

This is because some PROs are giving undue importance to a few websites and sharing information and gossips with them only. They are of the opinion that if they abolish the PRO system then there will not be any controversies in the future.

Initiatives are underway to remove the PRO team and handle media through the team constituted by the producers. Generally, PROs do what the stars and the film unit ask them to do. They act as a bridge between the media and the film unit. Already rumors are spreading that PROs will not get full remuneration for the films but instead work on rotation basis.

Analysts are of the opinion that film celebrities themselves ask PROs to control media putting restrictions and encourage fights between themselves and use for their selfish ends and now with fake news backfiring on them, they are coming to make PROs scapegoats by totally doing away with them.

Analysts say that stars are not realizing that if PROs are not there how will the film business will happen and marketing take place.
