"I cannot bring back the lives of the deceased. But then, I, on behalf, of the government will take up the responsibilities of helping all the bereaved families. The government will pay an ex-gratia Rs.1 crore to every family of the people who lost their lives in the tragedy," said the AP CM Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy who addressed the press after vising gas tragedy patients at KGF hospital.

The CM, further, announced an ex-gratia Rs.1 lakh to every victim who got hospitalized would be under treatment for two to three days and Rs.10 lakhs to every victim who is kept on ventilators for treatment. Moreover the the CM asserted that Rs.25000 each would be given as compensation to every victim who gets the first aid while Rs.10000 will be given around 15000 families at villages nearby to the LG Polymers Factory.

The CM rushed to KGF hospital on Thursday afternoon and learnt the details of the tragedy from the victims. He expressed a deep shock with the incident and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the victims.
