Although Mega Power Star Ram Charan was said to be sporting a crucial cameo role in Megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya, some mega fans expressed their concern over Charan doing that role.

Ram Charan was supposed to play a student leader in a 20-minute powerful flashback episode in the film. Had Mega Power Star done the role, he could have enthralled the audience with his terrific performance.

But then, Ram Charan is reprising his career's best role Alluri Seetharamaraju in Rajamouli's visual extravaganza RRR. Mega fans wish Ram Charan would not get over exposure before the release of RRR. They are of the opinion that Ram Charan's historical role gets diiluted with the cameo role in Acharya. And that's why, they turned reluctant Mega Power Star doing a cameo in Acharya.

According to a grapevine, Ram Charan is unlikely to enact the cameo role in Acharya. Since prolonged lockdown was imposed with the outbreak of coronavirus in India, Acharya's regular shoot was halted. And there is no clarity over the regular shoot's resumption.

Since Mega Power Star needs to complete his portion in RRR, he should inevitably give the first priority to wrap up his role in RRR. In light of these possible happenings, Ram Charan won't be doing the cameo role in Acharya. As such, a young mega hero is likely to replace Ram Charan in Acharya.
