He said "In RX 100, heroine's role is extremely important and as per the story, I felt a Telugu girl would be apt for the role and contacted almost all Telugu heroines in the industry but no one was ready to do the bold role".

He then made a startling revelation saying "Few heroines after knowing the role, shouted at me, asking me to Get Out!

Since finalizing heroine took more time than expected, I went to Mumbai and seeing Payal Rajput's photos, selected her for the role. I, however, did not have any expectations on Payal and she also did shooting just for the sake of it for some days. I got scared that the role would get spoiled and even went to her and remarked 'Because of you entire unit may come to roads'. Later she started acting showing involvement in the role and heroine's role turned out to be a sensation".

He added, "In the climax, the heroine's character do not change. Had she changed and apologized, the film would have flopped. The film turned out to be a hit as viewers came out of the theatres furious on the heroine".
