Director Threatened To Walk Out Of Mahesh Film

Movie lovers cannot forget superstar Mahesh Babu, Sonali Bendre's Murari directed by Krishna Vamsi which turned out to be super hit in 2001.

Mahesh Babu, Sonali Bendre's magical chemistry, beautiful songs, humour bowled all sections of movie lovers. It gave a much-needed lifeline for Mahesh Babu whose earlier films flopped.

Generally, top stars films have a mass song during the climax. However, Krishna Vamsi planned to have a class song 'Alanati Ramachandrudu' in the end. Though many opposed Krishna Vamsi, he did not listen.

The issue went to Super Star Krishna who also suggested Krishna Vamsi to have a mass song. But with Krishna Vamsi threatening to walk out of the film, if the song was not placed there, Krishna reluctantly relented.

The song turned out to be super hit and Mani Sharma's melodious music and lyrics spellbound all. Even now the song is played in many marriage ceremonies.
