I was happy as I was realizing my mother's dream. During that time a journalist came and broke the news about the helicopter crash and the death of Soundarya. It was tragic on hearing the death of Soundarya when I was about to realize my mother's dream."

He further said, “Soundarya's death was unexpected. She was supposed to come on a plane. But due to the Aptamitra shooting, she missed her flight. So she took the helicopter. Had she come in flight, we wouldn't have missed a great actress. Her void cannot be filled on-screen."
