Star heroes usually opt to work with in-form directors and don’t like to experiment giving chance to flop directors. Curiously, stylish star Allu Arjun who is enjoying the success of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo has given his nod to director AR Murugadoss whose recent outing Darbar is turning out to be a flop. More importantly, two straight Telugu films of Murugadoss were flops.
Murugadoss approached Bunny much before the release of Darbar and the actor promised to work with him the moment he listened to the script. In fact, Bunny gives priority to scripts and won’t think much about the track record of directors.
This will not be an immediate project of Allu Arjun who will next be joining hands with Sukumar who delivered a blockbuster with Rangasthalam. He is expected to work simultaneously for Murugadoss’s film.
Besides these two, Bunny lined up another project titled Icon. This will be helmed by Venu Sriram who so far directed only young heroes. This will be second biggest opportunity for Venu who will next be directing Power Star Pawan Kalyan in Pink remake tentatively titled Lawyer Saab.
While everyone appreciates Bunny for his decision of advancing film with Sukumar, they puzzle him whether it is a conscious decision of accepting films with Murugadoss and Venu Sriram.
