Everyone knows that it takes lot of guts, courage, perseverance, and hard work to enter into the defense forces. People cannot forget the tough scrutiny of the people aspiring to join the army in the name of the toughest test through National Defense Academy (NDA), various fitness tests and rigorous training afterward.

Many people even after clearing the NDA test and making it to the training cannot cope up with the rigorous stint and opt out of the course. This shows that all those in the army are extremely courageous, brave and well trained to handle any kind of situation.

Under these circumstances, it looks painful and insulting when filmmakers, especially from Tollywood, create roles showing army men as comedians. In Mahesh Babu's latest release Sarileru Neekevvaru, Rajendra Prasad who played the role of an Army soldier was shown scared of bombs and holding a gun.

Army does not select such people in the first instance and doing comedy showing Rajendra Prasad in army uniform scared of holding a gun is an insult to the Indian Army. This is not the first time, the Indian army and its soldiers were shown in a bad light by the Tollywood filmmakers which itself is demeaning and degrading.

Hope Tollywood filmmakers and stars show some respect to the Indian army and do not create such ridiculous roles showing army soldiers as cowards. Even during a military operation in Kashmir, Mahesh Babu is seen as more talented than his superior and differs with him continuously.

The army does not tolerate dissent and though similar scenes were shown in Rana's Ghazi, the makers came with a disclaimer that in Army dissent is not allowed and superiors commands should be followed.

Army men always sport a clean shave and it looked silly when Mahesh babu sports unshaven look.  In Bollywood, many films came with Army backdrop and when superior officers come, even the heroes were shown following their orders or coming with some suggestions rather than openly opposing them.

Even the pre-climax portions of Prakash Raj looked silly.
