Macho Hero To Shift Gears

Gopichand has all the qualities to become a mass hero. He scored decent hits and earned a reputation of a bankable star image with fans hailing him as the Nizam King. However, after scoring a hit with Loukyam, Gopichand lost his sheen by doing substandard films.

All his hopes of reviving his career with a thriller Chanakya came down crashing. Now he is at crossroads and inside talk is Gopichand decided to shift gears by doing a different genre role.

It is known that director Teja who elevated Gopichand's action in negative roles in Jayam and Nijam penned a different role and interesting plot and both Teja and Gopichand held discussions regarding the same.

Apart from this Gopichand is starring in Sampath Nandi's direction. Gopichand is romancing Tamannaah in this sports based entertainer where he will be seen as the coach of the AP female Kabaddi team while Tamannaah will be seen as the coach of TS female Kabaddi team. Gopichand who realised the after affects of over budget asked the makers to cut down the film budget drastically.
