Sye Raa: Live Review

Megastar Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimhareddy hit the screens on October 2. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film was bankrolled by Mega Power Star Ram Charan under Konidela Productions Company. The film has ensemble star cast who include Big B Amitabh Bachchan in Chiranjeevi's guru, Gosayi Venkanna role while Kiccha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathy, Jagapathy Babu and Ravi Kishan played other crucial roles. Nayantara and Tamannah sported female leads. Amit Trivedi provided music while cinematography was rendered by Rathnavelu. Following is the live review of the film.

* Show begins with Pawan Kalyan's voice over. 

* Jhansi Lakshmi Bhai ( Anushka) intro. She vocalises popular  athanoka Yodhudu dialogue  

* Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy's terrific entry. Chiranjeevi looks young. 

* Temple dancer Lakshmi (Tamannah) looks gorgeous in every frame. 

* Jathara song. Shot lavishly  various dancing styles of dancers. A feast to eyes.

*  Sye Raa  proposes Lakshmi and wins her love. However, triangular story starts after Siddamma's (Nayan) entry. 

* Enduku puttamo thelisinappude enduku chaavalo telusthundi..a touching dialogue by Sye Raa. 

* Narasimhareddy's fitting retort to British who tries to harass a farmer and wants to grab farmer lands.

* An extraordinary action sequence before interval. 

FIRST HALF REPORT: The first half deals with Narasimhareddy's patriotism, his generosity towards people and the triangular story with Nayantara and Tamannah. The story picks up momentum with the terrific interval lead fight and emotional intensity. Visual grandeur and top notch cinematography are experienced in every frame. Above all, Chiranjeevi steals the show with his vintage timing of dialogue delivery and performance.

* Palegaallu are reluctant to fight against the British. But then, people support Narasimhareddy to stage a war. 

* Charitralo manam vundaka povachu. Kaani charitra eeroju manathone modalavali. An intense dialogue before a jaw dropping war sequence.      

* Avuku Raju ( Kichcha Sudeep) supports Narasimhareddy in war. 

* Raaja Pandi ( Vijay Sethupathy) from Tamil Nadu joins hands with Sye Raa. 

* outstanding picturization of O Sye Raa song. Tamannah  at her best.

* Narasimhareddy finds out his traitors. Kills them.

* A huge war sequence. Narasimhareddy's supporters die. He escapes  

* Veera Reddy ( Jagapathy Babu) set to betray Narasimhareddy.

*  Narasimhareddy is detained by the British. Sentenced to death.

SECOND HALF REPORT: Second half is loaded with illustrious action sequences and conspiracies of Narasimhareddy's supporters. O Sye Raa song has been canned brilliantly. Tamannah's sacrifice is heart touching. However, Chiranjeevi's performance in climax episode must specially be mentioned. It was a mind boggling performance by him while entire scene was breathtakingly shot by the director. 

OVERALL REPORT: Sye Raa is a great patriotic film laced with huge action sequences and emotions. Except a few lengthy sequences in the first half, entire film has been canned magnificently. A must watch film.
